ATLANTIC CITY-Atlantic City's Democratic committee has voted to endorse incumbent Lorenzo Langford over City Councilman Marty Small in the race for Mayor.

The controversy over the endorsement has been brewing since the original committee vote on March 16th ended in a tie between the two men.

The committee had sought the help of the state democratic party but was told the party would not make an endorsement, stating it was a city matter.

Langford won the endorsement by a re-vote count of 27 to 24.
