GALLOWAY TWP.--A unique tribute in Galloway Township, where students are remembering children killed in the holocaust, one crayon at a time.
The Galloway Community Charter School presented 7,000 crayons they collected as part of a statewide project to remember the one and a half million children who lost their lives in the holocaust, "They are donating them to needy children hospices, schools and then anything that's left over after the million, will be presented in a memorial," said Bridget Park, a teacher at the school.
The crayons will be given out through the Fairlawn Jewish Community Center in Bergen County.
