POSSIBLE AMUSEMENT PARK TO OPEN IN SEA ISLE CITY

SEA ISLE CITY--Sea Isle City could soon be the latest shore town to offer, family fun amusements this summer.
The owners of Gillian's Wonderland Park in Ocean City, submitted their proposal for "Gillian's Funland in Sea Isle City" to the public today.
The proposal includes 11 to 12 kiddie rides that would be located along the waterfront on 42ND Place.
Supporters of the project hope the rides would attract families to visit and remain in the city.
"Our motto is amusements with the family in mind, so we're looking for the grandparents to be bale to ride with the little kids, but it mostly will be little children," explains Jay Gillian, owner of Gillian’s Wonderland.
City council will vote on the proposal this Tuesday.
If passed, Gillian's hopes to open by Memorial Day weekend.
