A.C. CASINOS GO BACK UP IN SMOKE

ATLANTIC CITY--After a month of fresh air inside Atlantic City's 11 casinos, the smoke is back.
At 12:01a.m. Sunday, the temporary smoking ban will expire, and gamblers will be permitted to light up for at least the next year.
The temporary ban has been in effect since October 15th and was originally set to be permanent.
However, the casinos complained that the ban would drive away business, and with the recent declines in casino revenue, the City Council repealed the smoking ban for at least a year.
