WOMAN TALKED DOWN OFF CASINO GARAGE LEDGE

ATLANTIC CITY--A possible deadly situation was averted this morning as police talk a woman down from a casino garage ledge.
Police say just before 6 a.m. Thursday morning a man from out of state called saying his wife wanted to hurt herself.
Officials began checking all of the casinos when they were called by Caesars security saying a black woman was sitting on the ledge threatening to jump.
After nearly four hours of negotiating, police were able to get the 54-year-old woman down safely and take her to the hospital for evaluation.
