The Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced Jose Camacho, the victim's husband, pled guilty to murder and aggravated manslaughter.
As part of the plea agreement Camacho, who was originally indicted for capital murder in the death of his step–daughter Lisandra Casanova, pled guilty to her murder, and now will not face a death sentence.
As for his wife, 32 year–old Yolanda Camacho, jose pled guilty to aggravated manslaughter.
In return for the guilty plea Camacho will most likely be sentenced to life in prison with no parole possible for at least 63 years.
Sentencing is scheduled for October 4th.
