WEST ATLANTIC CITY--The FBI is investigating an $800,000 fraud scheme involving the owner of a West Atlantic City gas station and a Pleasantville cell phone company.
Officials charged Naeem Khan and Azmat Ali on Friday with operating a credit card bust out scheme. Authorities say the two moved money between hundreds of fake credit card and bank accounts to rack up thousands of dollars in losses.
Khan of Egg Harbor Township is the owner of Garden State Fuels along the Black Horse Pike. Azmat of Mays Landing owns High Point Cellular.
The two allegedly made large purchases and never paid off the balances. They are facing several charges.
