SLOWER SPEED LIMIT TO MARK STRETCH OF BLACK HORSE PIKE IN E.H.T.

EGG HARBOR TWP.--Motorists who frequent the Black Horse Pike will be traveling at a slower pace.
In the next two weeks, the state will install new signs changing the speed limit from 55 MPH to 50 MPH.
The new 50 MPH zone extends from Ivins Avenue to the area of Uibel Avenue in Egg Harbor Township.
The Egg Harbor Township Traffic Safety Unit worked for three years to accomplish the change, hoping to make the pike safer for motorists.
