POLLS SHOW GOVERNOR'S RACE A DEAD HEAT IN FINAL HOURS

TRENTON--Incumbent Governor Corzine is fighting for 4 more years in Trenton, and as the clock ticks down, the race is a dead heat between him and his republican challenger Chris Christie.
A Quinnipiac University poll released Monday shows Christie ahead with 42% of likely voters. Corzine is close behind with 40%.
Independent Chris Daggett stands at 12%.
Another poll also released Monday, shows Corzine on top with 43% of likely voters.
The Fairleigh Dickinson University poll shows Christie trailing closely with 41%.
Daggett stands at just 8% on that poll.
