ATLANTIC CITY--- Vice President Al Gore was the keynote speaker Friday night, at a dinner held for Gov. Jon Corzine.
Held at Trump Plaza, the event served as the grand finale of the 2009 New Jersey Democratic State Conference, and as a pep rally for Corzine who still trails Chris Christie in the polls, less than 40 days before the November 3rd election.
In a speech that lasted approximately 25 minutes, Gore attempted to link Christie to President George Bush, "....George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Karl Rove and Chris Christie have policies that are not good for this country and they're not good for the state of New Jersey."
Speaking just before Gore, Corzine also made numerous comparisons between Christie and Bush, but mentioned very little about the problems facing New Jersey.
