ATLANTIC CITY -
A familiar face popped up in Atlantic City to show support for those who are supporting those in need.
Actor Kevin Bacon brought some lunch for volunteers with the Atlantic City Long Term Recovery group, as a way of saying thank you for all their hard work.
The group has been working hard to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
"We sort of try to find people that are doing good in a grass roots kind of way," said Bacon, "You know boots on the ground try to help out whatever happens to be and we heard about the Atlantic City Long Term Recovery program and said why don't we swing by and say hi."
Bacon's foundation sixdegrees.org, helps shine a light on community groups just like this one, to help raise awareness and funding.
