Local surf camp finds a way to give back

Posted: Updated:
AVALON - After a day on the waves, a local surf camp helps out the community.

Every Friday, the 25 students of the Avalon Surf Camp hold a beach clean up and pizza party.

Campers get to learn not only the basics of surfing, but the importance of keeping South Jersey's beaches clean.

As Avalon Surf Camp CEO David Kohler tells us, it's a great way to give back.

The campers were also joined Friday by a number of professional surfers, campers got the chance to take pictures and get autographs with the pros.
