ATLANTIC CITY -
With the expected influx of people in Atlantic City this week for the free beach concerts, a new traffic pattern will be set for the ongoing Pacific Avenue milling and resurfacing project.
During the beach concert period, from Thursday, July 31st, through Sunday, August 3, there will be a single lane of traffic eastbound between Missouri Avenue and Columbia Place.
At any given time, drivers in each area will encounter only a two-block section with a reduced traffic flow of one-lane in each direction.
Remember jitneys will not be able to stop in the construction areas; riders will need to use the block before or after the construction areas.
The project is expected to be completed in late fall 2014.
