More than 800 guests attended AtlantiCare's 55th Century Club Gala.
Decor resembled the 1939 film of Wizard of Oz.
The gala was a celebration of AtlantiCare's involvement in the community and the beginning of a major project.
"One of the things that we are celebrating is the kick off to our capital campaign to our main pavilion. We have some special news for our guests tonight and a kick off to a great announcement- a major donation to our community projects," said David Tilton, President and C.E.O of AtlantiCare.
The major announcement included the expansion of AtlantiCare's Mainland Campus and the largest donation from the Rothman Institute of $3 million will go to the project.
The event also helped raised nearly $600,000 for AtlantiCare's community projects such as Healthy Schools, Healthy Children Program and the Green Growing Initiative.
