OCEAN CITY - Nearly 350 crafters and food vendors came out to Ocean City's Spring Block Party.

When the event originally began over 30 years ago it covered only two city-blocks and has grown to a mile- long party with food, crafts, and entertainment.

The block party marks the beginning of the tourist season for local vendors and crafters.

The vendor sports specialties sold nearly $2,500 worth of merchandise.
"It's a very excellent day for me and it starts the season off on a high note," said Rich Dominico.
Besides food and crafts, entertainment is spread out through out the mile- long stretch.

Gillian's Wonderland Pier was also open.

People who came out got to experience Ocean City's downtown area and also the boardwalk.
