The search continues after Oso, Washington mudslide

Posted: Updated:
Search crews have recovered two more bodies from the debris left by the massive Oso, Washington mudslide.

The death toll is now up to 16, and searchers have located at least eight more bodies still trapped under the mile-wide debris field.  They will be added to the total once they're recovered.

There are another 150 or more people still unaccounted for.

No survivors have been found since Saturday, but rescuers haven't given up hope.

I consider it still a rescue operation, absolutely. It's a rescue and a recovery operation. We haven't lost hope, you know, that," says Snohomish County Fire Chief Travis Hots.
