Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor and Wildwood Police Chief Steve Long report that on January 30, 2014, at approximately 12:08 AM, the Wildwood Police Department responded to the report of shots fired outside of the Cattle N’ Clover Pub, located at 3817 Pacific Avenue, Wildwood, NJ.
Upon arrival, police discovered a male, later identified as Kenneth Clarke, a 39 year old resident of Wildwood, shot in the left calf. A subsequent investigation by the Major Crimes Unit of the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office and Detectives from the Wildwood Police Department was conducted and several witnesses were interviewed. Clarke was subsequently transported to Cape Regional Medical Center for his injuries where he was treated and released.
This investigation is on-going and further details will be forth coming pursuant to the investigation.
