Happy Saturday South Jersey!
I hope you all are all bundled up inside on this snowy Saturday. The main story remains that the very cold air stays over the region through Thursday. Tonight, snow will become more isolated the further into tonight we go and then it will become mostly cloudy. Once we get past this dusting of snow, a strong low pressure system will trail in towards western Pennsylvania tonight. On Sunday, more increasing clouds will be present with a highs in the mid 20's. Winds will stay out of the west around 10 to 15 mph. The cold air will be even more reinforced as we get further into the work week with another arctic Arctic Front that will swing through the mid Atlantic on Monday...
With the swing of the front, winds will pick up to 20-25 mph bringing with it some spitting mixed precipitation. Shortly after the front swings through a strong Arctic High will settle in all the way down towards the Southeastern part of the country
The story remains cold with little budging in temperatures for the week. More news will come as we get closer to the start of the week.
Until next time,
Meteorologist Sydney Daniel
