The latest Monmouth University Asbury Park Press poll shows that Governor Chris Christie's job approval rating has dropped in light of the scandal, but only slightly.
Today Christie's job approval rating stands at 59% while it was at 65% just one month ago.
This is the first poll since Hurricane Sandy that Christie's approval rating has dropped below 60%.
Republicans are sticking by the Governor, giving him an 89% approval rating.
The poll also reveals that 83% of the state's residents are paying attention to the lane closing story and only a third believe that Christie himself knew about the political plan allegedly behind the traffic jams.
