MULLICA TWP. -
Students and staff of a local elementary school gather together to remember and honor a little boy killed in a car accident just before Christmas.
Jaiden Ohnemuller-Musket was killed when the car he was riding in last Saturday struck a tree.
Friday, students and staff at the Mullica Township Elementary School in Elwood, where Jaiden was a fourth grader, met to create paper cranes to be strung around a tree planted in Jaiden's honor.
One of the myths or stories or legends about death is that cranes take the soul of children up into the heavens so this project is to help the community heal and at the same time for us to remember Jaiden.
Jaiden's funeral is planned for this weekend.
His father was also injured in Saturday's accident.
