Coast Guard Cutter "Dependable" returns home after 29 days
CAPE MAY -
Just in time for the holidays, the United States Coast Guard cutter Dependable and her crew arrived safely home.
The cutter Dependable arrived back in her home port of Cape May this morning around 11:30 Monday morning.
The crew of the Dependable had been out on a twenty-nine day patrol, enforcing marine wildlife protection laws and other safety regulations, completing more than 20 boardings of commercial fishing boats.
Commander John "Paul" Gregg says that his crew worked very hard and will spend some well–earned time off to celebrate the holidays.
