Court to decide final contested race

Posted: Updated:

The Atlantic County Board of Elections is done counting ballots from Tuesday's General Election, but some of the races are still up in the air.

The race for a 2nd District Assembly seat is still being considered undecided and is headed to court tomorrow afternoon after the final ballots were counted last night.

Provisional ballots combined with machine and mail-in votes after two days of counting resulted in a two vote lead for incumbent Republican Assemblyman John Amodeo over Democratic Northfield Mayor Vince Mazzeo.
