Atlantic City man admits to killing a woman with a telephone cord
ATLANTIC CITY -
An Atlantic City man has admitted to strangling a woman and leaving her body in a van outside of the Atlantic City bus terminal before fleeing to Texas.
The Atlantic County Prosecutors Office says that 48 year old David Williams pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter and says he strangled 23 year-old Siddiquah Bryant with a telephone cord in a motel room back in May of 2012.
Williams says that he then put Bryant's body in a van and parked it behind the bus terminal.
Williams was apprehended in Texas on July 30th of 2012.
As part of the plea agreement, Williams will be sentenced in January to 25 years in New Jersey State Prison, where he must serve at least 21 years and three months before becoming eligible for parole.
