ATLANTIC CITY -
The latest Atlantic City casino to file for bankruptcy is asking a judge to let it keep operating as usual while it seeks a buyer.
The Atlantic Club Casino Hotel filed for Chapter 11 protection late Wednesday night. Its lawyers are in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Camden Friday.
Among issues to be decided are whether the casino can continue paying employees and vendors while operating in bankruptcy.
The judge also must consider whether it can delay listing its assets and liabilities until mid-December. Half of Atlantic City's 12 casinos have filed for bankruptcy protection over the last six years.
The Atlantic Club was formerly known as the Atlantic City Hilton.
