Charges are pending against the man police arrested after Thursday's standoff on the black horse pike that left a police K-9 seriously injured.
After fleeing from a routine traffic stop Thursday in the west Atlantic City section of Egg Harbor Township, police pursued and arrested David Capriotti, who was wanted on multiple warrants.During the pursuit, shots were fired, injuring both Capriotti and "Shooter," an Egg Harbor Township Police K-9. Capriotti remains in critical but stable condition. Shooter's wounds were serious, but he is expected to recover. Charges are also pending against a second suspect brought in for questioning by police last night. Police continue to investigate whether or not Capriotti was armed.
