SEA ISLE CITY -
Those who not only worked through Hurricane Sandy, but also put their lives on the line during the storm received a special "thank you" on Monday.
Sea Isle City hosted a "Thank You Breakfast" for all municipal employees, volunteer ambulance corps members and volunteer fire fighters this morning, just one day shy of the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Sandy.
The mayor says this is a special way to thank them for all of their hard work during the storm.
"And we just want to let them know that we do appreciate everything that they did leading up to it, during it, and after and what they do year around for us," said Sea Isle City Mayor Leonard DeSiderio.
The mayor also says that Sea Isle City would not have been open for business last summer if it wasn't for the help and support from the community.
