The Atlantic City firefighter that was injured Tuesday while fighting a suspicious blaze is back home from the hospital and recovering this evening.
Firefighter Frank Walsh suffered burns to his neck and hands Tuesday evening while fighting the two alarm fire that broke out around 5:30 on the 300 block of North Indiana Avenue. Fire officials say they battled flames on three stories of the abandoned building. A neighboring building also sustained damage to its siding during the blaze. Fire officials say the cause of the fire is suspicious and the investigation is ongoing.
