Ocean City council faces final vote on federal beach project

Posted: Updated:
OCEAN CITY - It's the final vote in Ocean City to take on easements before a federal beach project on the south end of the island.

Before the vote the topic will be open for public discussion. As of last week the city had still not acquired about 18 easements.

The city council may also consider introducing an ordinance granting easements for city properties to the State of New Jersey.

Other ordinances will also be under review, including a plan to redevelop an area at 10th Street and Palen Avenue into a marina and restaurant.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m.
