VILLAS-The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is undertaking a project to make improvements to the Garden State Parkway at Exit 0 and Route 109 in Lower Township.
As part of design efforts, surveying, soil borings and utility location investigations will be performed. According to the turnpike authority, some of the work will entail use of a drilling rig at isolated locations to check soil quality and to locate utilities.
The work will take place over the next several months in the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway, Route 109 and Ocean Drive. Much of the work will be confined to existing right-of-ways.
