The annual Snow Plow Rodeo brought trucks and crews from throughout Cape May County to show off their driving skills.
The 17th annual event, held at the Cape May County Airport, is mostly about training snow plow drivers for the upcoming season, but includes a good dose of healthy competition.
The plow safety course is set up with seven stations, showing the drivers some of the obstacles they may face out on the roadways this winter.
"How to do a cul-de-sac, typically in Cape May County, a lot of residential developments have cul-de-sacs, it teaches them and explains to them how to properly plow a cul-de-sac. We have other maneuvers that they do, backing up," said Frank McCall of Cape May County Public Works.
Drivers also attended a safety lecture put on by the Cape May County Public Works Association at the Naval Air Station Wildwood.
