A New Jersey judge has refused to delay the start of gay marriage in the state.
The Governor's Administration had asked the judge to delay the start of gay marriage in the state until after a legal appeal is final. That means the same sex marriages may begin on October 21st. Christie's Administration is expected to appeal to a higher court. The administration has already asked the state supreme court to reverse the judge's earlier ruling that the state has to allow gay couples to get married.
