Some of Cape May County's bravest are putting on pink this month in hopes of raising awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer.
The Cape May County Career Firefighters launched a pink "Jersey Shore, Fighting for a Cure" t-shirt campaign Monday morning in Wildwood.
Firefighters from Ocean City, North Wildwood, Wildwood, and Cape May will not only be wearing these pink t-shirts but will also be selling them to raise money for the local non-profit, Survivors of Cancer, an organization that assists in the fight against the devastating disease.
The $20 shirts will be available at the local departments and at local events throughout the rest of October, which is breast cancer awareness month.
