Second case of rabies confirmed this week in Vineland
Health officials in Cumberland County are confirming the second positive case of rabies within a week in Vineland.
A skunk that was killed by a dog last Friday in the area of Lincoln and Sherman Avenues has tested positive for the potentially fatal virus. Just a day earlier a bat with the disease was found near a school bus stop. Health officials are warning residents to stay away from wildlife and to make sure to have their pets vaccinated.
