The next phase in the long anticipated project to remove the traffic lights on the Garden State Parkway is about to begin.
Officials with the New Jersey Turnpike Authority say that a divisional road will soon be opened in cape may county so that overpasses can be constructed. Detours are expected next week as paving begins. Officials say that so far the project is on budget and on time, with an expected completion date sometime in 2015.
