A south jersey sixth grader was at it again, delivering smiles to children in the hospital Thursday.
We first introduced you to 11-year-old Shannon Raymond earlier this week, as she delivered teddy bears to children at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. Thursday night, Raymond was at Shore Medical Center, delivering 50 more bears to children in the pediatric care center.
This kind-hearted 6th grader was inspired to help other children during her own stay in the hospital battling juvenile arthritis. Raymond saw a young girl's face light up when given a teddy bear, and she wanted to do something similar.
Overall, Raymond has given away about 300 bears in three days.
