According to the Coast Guard, a helicopter crew rescued two children from the marsh near Oyster Creek Saturday.
Officials say the father of the boys called Coast Guard Air Station in Atlantic City around 8:20 p.m. He told them he was fishing with his two sons when they got out of the boat and became stranded
A helicopter crew arrived 40 minutes later and lifted the boys from the marsh and took them to the air station. The boys were not injured.
