Highlighting the ease and freshness of farming in the Garden State, Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno took a tour of a South Jersey produce packing facility Tuesday morning.
The F&S Produce Company in Rosenhayn packs Jersey Fresh produce and ships it out to locations all over the country.
The agribusiness tour highlighted some of New Jersey's most popular produce, including blueberries, which F&S ships to Canada as well as to the rest of the country.
"The reason why this company has been so successful in New Jersey is because you can get to a third of the United States from where we're standing. And that makes it a good business decision, to bring a business like this, a distribution, a food distribution business like this to New Jersey," said Guadagno.
The F&S Produce Company employs more than 400 Cumberland County residents.
