E.H.T. Police asking for help in identifying Shoprite purse-snatchers

The Egg Harbor Township Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two men involved in the theft of a purse. The incident took place on July 23 at the Shoprite store in the English Creek Center, in the Cardiff section of the township.

The suspects approached a woman in the check-out line. One suspect distracted the woman while the other removed her purse from the shopping cart. The suspects fled the store and it is unknown if they had a vehicle.

The suspects, seen in the photos, are white men in their 20’s according to police and have thin to medium builds and between 5’6” to 5’8” in height. The suspect in the red shirt has a goatee and a tattoo on his left forearm. The suspect in the black shirt had no distinct characteristics.
