It was a sea ofyellow today at the 20th Annual United Way Rubber Ducky Regatta at Morey'sPiers in Wildwood.
For nearly twodecades, these quackers have been making appearances tosupport United Way's work to improve education, income, health and basic needsin South Jersey.
Hundreds of peoplecame to watch lines of ducks race through the lazy river at Raging Waters.
"Well, youcan't beat the raging water of the lazy river, it's probably one of the slowestraces in the world, it's a lot of fun. We had some 5,000 ducks," said JohnEmge, Exec. Dir. of United Way.
After selling theducks for just $5, Executive Director John Emge,projects more than $30,000 dollars will be raised for United Way in Cape May County.
