State Police have released the identity of the man who's body was found in the bay Thursday by a group of tourists.
The man has been identified as 61-year-old Norman Remsen, of Marmora, Upper Township. Remsen's body was found just after noon Thursday in the bay near 43rd Street. Police say next of kin has been notified. Friends of Remsen tell NBC 40 News that he worked as a carpenter, but his true passion was playing the blues guitar. Remsen is seen in photos sent in by his friend Bob Gollihur playing a show a few months back.
The cause and manner of Remsen's death is still being investigated.
