Steve Lonegan, Republican candidate running for U.S. Senate, met with voters this Saturday afternoon at the Atlantic County Fair in South Egg Harbor.
Lonegan says he intends to spend a lot of time promoting his platform throughout Atlantic County and South Jersey.
Lonegan stated, "I'm running on appealing Obamacare, putting an end to education standards, the Common Core curriculum, ruling back the massive size of government that's intruding into our privacy from the IRS through the NSA because I think our constitutional rights are under assault like I've never seen before."
The winner of the Republican Primary will go on to face the Democratic candidate in a special election this November to replace the U.S. Senate seat vacated by the death of senator Frank Lautenberg.
