Dozens of residents got the chance to run the Atlantic City Boardwalk with one of New Jersey's most high-profile politicians.
Supporters and volunteers including Atlantic City Mayor Lorenzo Langford and city council members joined Newark Mayor Cory Booker for a late-night jog through the shore resort and along the boardwalk...
Booker is hoping to win the seat of former Democratic Senator Frank Lautenberg, who died in June.
The special US Senate Election will be held in October.
The aspiring senator says if elected he's looking forward to helping Atlantic City residents.
"This is a town that I really look forward to being a part of the community, rolling up my sleeves. I've learned some things from people down here and I hope to share things that we've done in Newark, like collecting more income tax money because there's a lot of families here that deserve to get money back," said Booker.
Booker ended the evening by treating everyone to some ice cream.
