Authorities have arrested a man they say was under the influence of narcotics when he caused a fatal accident last November.
Robert DeMarco, 30, of Williamstown, was arrested and charged with vehicular homicide and manslaughter for the November 7th, 2012 accident that killed Robert Pitts of Lower Township. Police say DeMarco was on drugs when he swerved into oncoming traffic on Route 47 North in the area of Natali Vineyard in Cape May Court House, colliding with Pitts' car. Pitts was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.
