TRENTON -

Twenty three people have been indicted on charges of racketeering.

The New Jersey State Police Casino Investigations Bureau says that they impersonated business account holders and withdrew over $275,000 at Atlantic City's casinos.

Most of the 23 people are from Brooklyn, New York.   None are from New Jersey.

Police say that criminals often use the casinos to launder money because large transactions are conducted there.
