Authorities have closed off sections of an Atlantic City boardwalk entrance after a nearby shed was engulfed in flames.
It happened before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday near the boardwalk entrance on Saint James Place, across from the Irish Pub.
Firefighters were able to extinguish what was described as a very large blaze, in less than an hour.
An NBC 40 reporter on the scene confirmed that the shed was almost completely destroyed in the fire, and that sections of the wooden entrance ramp leading up to the boardwalk also suffered fire damage.
No injuries were reported during the incident, and officials have not said what may have caused the fire.
