More than one hundred people made their way around Absecon Island today at the sixth annual "Dean Randazzo Paddle for a Cause".
With a bright and early wake up call and a 22.5-mile race lasting from five to six hours is designed to be a challenge.
Founded by Mike May in 2008, all proceeds from the event go toward the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation, which in 12 years has raised more than $300,000 toward cancer research.
And, of course, a Saturday packed with paddling ended with some partying on the deck of the Golden Nugget.
