Wounded Warriors work with NJ Performance Power Boat Club

Posted: Updated:

This morning, more than eighty Wounded Warriors made waves with the New Jersey Performance Power Boat Club.

As preparations are underway for Sunday's Grand Prix, veterans took in a sunny Saturday on the water, viewing some of the fastest running offshore race boats along the outer limits of the racecourse.

"It's a phenomenal experience for them. a lot of the guys have done some pretty crazy stuff themselves when they were in service, but it's just a different aspect. We love to see their faces when they're out there," says crew chief, Gary stray.

The races take place tomorrow at until 3 p.m.

The two and half mile course will stretch from the Atlantic Club to Revel, beginning and ending at the Frank S. Farley State Marina.
