A guilty plea today from a Bridgeton man charged with aggravated manslaughter in connection with a police chase that left an elderly man dead.
Police say back on March 30th, 2010, 48 year-old Michael Jones stole a paramedic SUV in Gloucester County before being pursued by police at speeds of over one hundred mph.
Shortly after, Jones collided with a car driven by 81 year-old Alfred Constantino, who was killed in the crash. Jones also pleaded guilty to theft of a vehicle and eluding.
He now faces a thirty-year sentence and will have to serve 85 percent of that before he's eligible for parole.
Sentencing is set for August 9th, 2013.
