Tourism officials announce the line-up for August's "Summer Slam" concert
On the one-year anniversary of the highly successful free Kenny Chesney concert, Wildwood officials announced Thursday that another free concert will coming to the beach on the island resort town.
The Greater Wildwood Tourism Improvement and Development Authority said in a news conference that Fuel, Alien Ant Farm, Lit, and Hoobastank will be hitting the stage on August 24 in an event billed as "Wildwood Beach Summer Slam."
Fuel has a number of rock and roll chart toppers including "Shimmer," and "Hemorrhage." Hoobastank's single, "The Reason," debuted at number two on Billboard charts in 2004. Alien Ant Farm is widely known for their cover of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal." Lit had multiple singles in the late '90's and early 2000's, including their hit "My Own Worst Enemy."
