Some of New Jersey's top broadcast journalists were honored at a luncheon in Atlantic City today.
The New Jersey Broadcasters Association held its annual convention this week at Caesars Atlantic City and today the group honored the best of the best in the business and we here at NBC40 were extremely honored to accept three awards today.
Our Phaedra Laird was recognized for Best TV News for "Sandy vs. South Jersey", our "NBC40 Gives Back" Hurricane Sandy relief drive won for best TV promotion and our creative services production coordinator Chris Heitman accepted the award for the Best TV Commercial, which featured Gentilini Ford.
Also, the Humanitarian Award named in honor of late NBC40 owner Howard L. Green was presented to the New Jersey National Guard.
